Port Leucate
Port Leucate is a small port located in the Languedoc region of South-West France.
Port Leucate is situated between the Mediterranean Sea  
and a vast salt water
lagoon,
reserved for water sports,
and is home to many water birds including pink flamingos.
Port Leucate is an attractive holiday resort, with a lively marina, shops, bars and restaurants.

The long sandy beaches of the Med boasts the EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness,
with lifeguards on duty throughout the summer season

Cycles and boats can be hired, sea fishing and sailing trips are also readily available at the marina.

The port is also renowned for its local oyster and muscle beds, farmed locally.

During the winter months as
Port Leucate is close to the Pyrenees Mountians, it is also a great base for winter skiing.
